Der Weg nach Finisterre und Muxía ist der Epilog des Jakobswegs. Von Santiago de Compostela gehen Pilger weitere 119 km in 4 Etappen bis zum Kap Finisterre, dem mythischen "Ende der Welt".
Die mittelalterliche Tradition verlangte, dass Pilger ihre Reise mit dem Sonnenuntergang über dem Atlantik am Leuchtturm von Finisterre abschließen. Die Route führt weiter entlang der spektakulären Costa da Morte zum Heiligtum der Jungfrau von der Barke in Muxía.

Start of the Epilogue towards the end of the world. After saying farewell to the cathedral, leave Santiago through the Sar quarter and walk along rural trails through eucalyptus forests and Galician villages. Negreira is a town with a manor house and a medieval bridge over the Tambre river.
A long stage through the interior of the Costa da Morte. Solitary paths through oak groves, meadows and villages with stone granaries. Pass through Vilaserio and Santa Mariña. Olveiroa is a small hamlet where the path splits: one route goes to Finisterre and another directly to Muxía.
