A stage through the middle lands of Navarra, among gentle hills and cereal fields. Pass through Izco and villages with rural Romanesque churches. Monreal is a Navarrese town at the foot of the Sierra del Perdón, with a medieval bridge and ruins of the royal castle. From here you can already see the way to Puente la Reina.
